Thank you to everyone who has made my birthday special. I had a wonderful day. I wore the Mad-Hatter Birthday Cake Hat and all the kids were so sweet Wishing me a Happy Birthday and giving me hugs. I love them all so much. Alexis' birthday was today too. We're twins separated by a couple of decades

My Wonderful Good News=Carl and Sarah came for a surprise visit!!

I'm sorry to all my friends that have been visiting my blog sooo faithfully and waiting soooo anxiously to hear my good news(and yes Jordan I am talking to you) but I've been busy with my visitors and just didn't have time to share my joy.

We went to Julian

I love Julian. Apple pie, and apple cider and a visit to Dudley's bakery. Yum! but it was so cold!

We had some friends over:

The night before they left we had a bonfire and S'mores

I'm so glad they were able to come for a visit. I didn't think I'd get to see them for a couple of years and then they call and say they're coming in five days! This was such a blessing! Thank you God

Our trip to...

Sea World

My family went to Sea World with our church's homeschool group. For many of my little sisters it was there very first time.

They feel neat, kinda soft/squishy/slimey

Even Connie touched one

Dolphins are so cool! I remember the first time I told my little sisters that I had touched a dolphin before. They were like "can i touch you?"

And now they all got to

You had to be careful when feeding the Sea Lions. The seagulls were acting like crazed kamikaze vultures. They were swooping in and stealing fish left and right. They would even take the fish right out of your hand!

I'm so glad there is glass between them

1. I finally got my grades back. An A in Childrens Lit and an A on my final paper. All Praise and Glory to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!!!

2. I'm Going to be an AUNT!!!! about August I'll have a little nephew or niece to love to death! I'm going to have to plan a trip up to Washington this fall...

3. My sister Crystal Kinz CP, passed her test! I knew you could do it, Crystal!!!

4. I just got a facebook. Find me if you can...

Merry Christmas

And Happy New Year!

I had a wonderful Christmas. (despite the fact that I have a cold and a horribly sore throat) The biggest gift we got this year is an Xbox360. (Yeah!) I honestly didn't think we'd get one, but my grandparents surprised us. I pulled my brother Calvin's name for christmas and surprise he pulled my name! I bought him a book he's been wanting for a long time, Tales of the Bounty Hunters. When he opened it he looked at me and said, "You know what I like!" And then the dear sweet boy got me the soundtrack for Halo 3. It's pretty nice too! Thank you Calvin. I Love You!

Yeah! I passed my TECEP, Shakespeare I, with a score of 92!! That was probably one of the easiest tests I’ve ever done and definitely the most fun to study for. I’m still taking World Lit through Texas State and Intro to Children’s Lit and One Writer’s Vision: Jane Austen through Thomas Edison. I took my mid-term yesterday so I have eight more weeks to go and then I’ll be finished!! Yippee!! I’ve been so swamped with all the reading and the writing I have to do, and then with the fires I got a little behind. And I really won’t get a break for the holidays; unless I do extra work and get far enough ahead to take one.

I’ve discovered something. I can write. I never enjoyed doing it in school. The only person who ever read my stuff was my mother. She said it was good but I always figured she was a little biased. But I’ve been getting good grades on all the assignments I’ve turned in so far and I’ve been enjoying it too, so I guess maybe homeschooling works after all.

I’ve been thinking about Mexico a lot lately. I want to go back so bad. I miss the kids and I miss my friends. (If you’re reading this dear friends, I miss you) My church has had a couple of combined services recently. Where they speak English and interpret it to Spanish. They remind me of being in Mexico and make me miss teaching through a translator. I remember this one orphanage we went to in Guadalajara and these two little boys in particular, I think their names where Rudolpho and Jesse. They asked me before I left, “Will you ever come back?”

I don’t know.

“Will I ever go back, God?”
